Help with Helix pocket!!!??

I saw a few other threads on here about a helix but i couldn't quiet find what i needed if i missed it please send me the link!

Anyway i broke my helix in about 1/2 a season(obviously not the most durable) and i just sent it back to warrior. when i get it back i want to string it with 6 diamond but last time i strung it i couldn't get the pocket to sit high enough, it would always end up down at the bottom of the throat because of the backwards flared sidewalls. i'm looking for a smooth and quick release with no whip. if you can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.

You could try double sidewalls, as shown in Orange's tutorial here:

yea try out double sidewalls or just double or triple up where you want the pocket.

if your looking for 10d pockets i have pictures on 2 of my helixes that have big high pockets and the flare shouldn't make the pocket lower it should make it higher if anything

ok here's the deal: i had the same problem with the helix. what i did was i loosened up the strings the go all around and tightened up the strings under the ball pit stop. worked for me. however, i like whip and kept it

i like a smoother release so i'll try to combine all the things on here i've read about stringing helix's and put try to make it just how i like it. thanks again!

I'm not sure how to do it on 6d but with 8d I just doubled up on the 3rd and 4th sidewall hole and I have a fairly high pocket sits at the top of throat and also in the less pinched part. It was a lot easier to get a high pocket for me than a lot of ppl say it is on here.
