Two New Dyes

Just two dyes i did recently. The cyber is just a solid carolina blue with white, nothing to special. the proton + is a mixture of kelly green and golden yellow and royal blue and kelly green. i had a torque that was the same colors that i sold last summer, and i tried to remake that head... its pretty close, the pictures are in this thread. http://lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=52596

Cyber looks so good. Throw some good ol' white mesh with light blue shooters in there

I really think that the Cyber is the superior dye job of the two. Out of curiosity, which type of RIT did you use to get that particular shade / how long did you expose the head to the dye?

Your fade on the Proton looks well thought out, but there is just something about the colour scheme that makes me want to change the channel.

I agree with FLD that the colors on the proton are a bit off. The blue on the proton is a bit too dark. Honestly i would have done the proton without hot glue because thats a nice fade. The cyber is all around nice. Props.

FLD- its evening blue, just one packet. i think it was in there for maybe 10 minutes. i took it out after 5 or so, rinsed it under cold water and put it back in for a short time.

and for the proton, i dont like it as much as i did the torque in the other thread. it looked so much better to me on the torque after looking at the pictures side by side on my computer. but i liked the way it looked so i figured why not try it again. i have another proton that im going to attempt to redo a dye from an old cyber i posted but i dont think that the protons take the dye as well as some of the other heads ive done, ill put some thought into it before i do it... possibly add a little more salt to the water, maybe a higher concentration

and im stringing the cyber right now, ill repost the pictures when i do.

i love the cyber its so cleanly done, i also love the blue and white, i swear the when i look at the blue i feel refreshed.

i agree with laxr24, put white mesh with blue shooters and it will look beautiful.

very nice cyber... what I am thinking of doing is the same thing but half a much glue then another half after the evening blue and navy on it...but it looks great! and as said above I'm not crazy about the color scheme on the proton, though it looks well done.
