I strung up a evo today and instead of using strings for the top strings i used 4 zip ties, holds well haven't shot with it yet. The only problem im thinking that will happen is that if you play indoor the block part of the zip tie will catch on loose turf or catch on grass when played on grass. Ill tell you how it all shoots 2marrow.

I don't really think its illegal because its not really going to hurt anyone IMO.

just tried um out in michigan nasty after rain climate....and it all came out good, didn't catch on grass or anything smooth relase and it stays tight which is good in rainy type weather. i melted the end of the ties (after cutting them shorter...duh) so that they would have a less chance cutting someone, and also makes them harder to fall off or move.

Yeah, cause I'm not really getting a visual picture of where you put the ties.

its like, he threaded a zip tie thru the top hole ,and used that instead of a top string.

they will break when you catch the ball in a game.... for sure....

it happen to a stick where i used them for the two middle holes where it had leathers on the outside...

thats a cool idea. im sure that if i didnt work as a permanent thing it would be a great fix if something broke.

my friend, he was a freshman and easily one of the best attackman in VT, he kept on breaking the zip ties on the school goals when i was shooting with him. in about a half hour he had 5 or 10 broken, so i don't expect them to be durable. i wonder how long they'd last in a pocket?
