My daughter just finished a Girl's Session of Trilogy Lacrosse Camp here in Austin, TX. Being the Lax Dad that I am, (and the one paying the $$$) I watched portions of each of the day's activities.
Overall: This was an outstanding experience for my daughter. First and foremost she had fun and second, she learned a lot (2 years experience).
The camp was held at St. Andrew's HS on a spectaular girls lacrosse field -- I've seen putting greens that are not as nice as this field.
Theresa Sherry was the primary instructor and has amazing credentials - she and her staff were superb. They spent some of the first day on basics; throwing, catching, cradling, etc., but by the last day they were working on more advanced strategies and plays.
There was a medical observer (Trilogy Staff member) on the field at all times; she kept the girls hydrated and sunscreened -- a very good thing.
I was gratified to see that a whole bunch of time was NOT spent on conditioning and stretching. Which means A LOT of time was spent with a crosse in their hands and moving the ball around. Each day finished with a scrimmage (more lacrosse -- a good thing).
Today, the last day, they had a raffle and had some giftees -- shirts, bracelets, hairbands, and one Warrior girls stick. It appeared to me that the majority of the campers were happy with the time they spent with Theresa.
One or two very minor constructive (I hope) criticisms: It is HOT and MUGGY in Texas in June. The field had NO shade. I think it would be benenficial for Trilogy to arrange a tent rental or something similar to make sure there is a place to hide during breaks.
The first day started a few minutes late but that was due to some of the girls still straggling in 15 minutes after "GO" time and trying to Register. Kind of like herding cats, if you know what I mean...
We paid $250 for four days (3 hour sessions) and I believe we got good value for our money. I will use Trilogy again -- especially if Theresa is involved.

Two Thumbs Up!
