I love my woodie, but I am a mid/attack and have never used D-pole but it would lay some sick checks. Go for it!

i play with a woodie and am never playing metal again. Itd be pointless to use it for training unless you make a heavy one. If you make or buy one, it probably will not help you for training purposes.

yeah our team had a few players who used them all year and we come from a relativly more hick-town area so refs would laugh at us.

i gave it a 9 only because of the discription of 10(i use a STX Ti in games)(yes, i like heavy shafts)
i bought a hickory lax one, and never regretted it. I was shocked beacuse a lot of noodle arms make it out to be uber heavy but it was pretty light(like the weight of a Ti). I severly dented a friends Diamond in practice, and broke a Kpro in a game with it.(+ many bruises and bad memories :naughty:)
you should go for it
