the swift boat group is total crap! nothing they say matches up to the officially documents. i think the issue is getting dragged out too much. it just needs to be dropped as it should have been a long time ago, it is distracting to anything that does matter such as issues

i perfer liberal to socialist, raine. how can you explain that in kerry's 96 campaign a key member of the swift boat group spoke out in support of kerry backing his vietnam record. they are basing their argument on he said she said crap. i dont get how this is even an issue, john kerry voluntarilly served for his country. when he did serve he served valiantly as proven by the official vietnam records. if we wanted to bring up bush's vietnam record we couldnt really say much because he never served. he used his familys prominence to get him into a guard unit that had a waiting list to get into. he knew he had no chance of going to war when he joined. i dont actually care about that, and i dont want to make an issue out of it either. lets keep this election focused on issues, not smear tactics of 527 groups-yes that includes michael moore too. raine, ill bet youll be surpirsed to hear i have not even seen that movie yet.

Guess who told the story for those records? Mr. Kerry himself. Of course he lied, it's been proven.

proven by whom? fox news? what about the reports of the doctors who fixed the wounds of kerry's. have you seen the first ad, where the doctor says kerry didnt deserve the first purple heart and he knew because he was the doctor who treated him? well, either hes lying or he just remembers wrong. on no medical records does it show that he treated kerry.

I saw the article he was talking about, but I'm not going to post it. If there is one thing I’ve realized from this presidential election, it attacking someone’s military service is really disrespectful.
That being said, the new swift boat ads I’ve been seeing have been attacking what Kerry did after the war, which is fair game. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be a POW and have to hear that stuff from a fellow solider.
I picked “I really don’t know”, but I would rather there be a “I respect anyone who’s ever put on the uniform.”
