So for half a year, every year, I don't play lax. Then when I go to pick up my stick again, everything seems slower because the stick seems heavier. I play tennis during the off season and even the heaviest raquet is really light. Any suggestions, will it all come back with practice?

Probably, dont not practice!! That will make you worse. Practice like 30 minutes a day like I do during the off-season.

I still have 5 months in the off season left, forgot to say that. There's still time to fix it.

i play year round lax but because u play tennis all u can do is hit the wall every day...bring your racket. 30 min with your stick and another 30 with your racket

i dont understand how ppl play 30 minutes a day, a play alot but i dont go out everyday and play lax, i also play soccer and basketball but dispite that im in year round leagues. in summer i go to cmaps and play in leagues but august is slow for lax. i dont think u need to play lax everyday to get better u dont gotta throw away ur life.

In our area lax all year round isn't even an option, it's just not big enough here. That's why everyone on my team is at least a two-sport athlete.

Our coaches strongly believe in having a wide array of abilities. They want us to spend time doing other things because they believe it adds to our lax skills. We are committed, but during the off season it's much slower.
I love lacrosse, don't get me wrong, and it helps to take a break to do other things. I will start practicing again though, even if it is for 30 minutes a day.

Lift weights, curls, upper body stuff. When you pick the stick up it wont seem heavy.

Practice like I said, lifting weights would help too.

I think practicing and lifting for the next five months would help you get in shape for lacrosse!
