I was listening to some political talk show run by some woman named Laura. I was driving through Louisiana so I don't know the name of the show.
She was talking about Zell Miller's speech and how good it was and strenghthening the fact that Kerry opposed all these weapons and the Zell brought it up.
So this liberal calls up and conversation follows such:
by the book greeting and such and this man is angry at Zell:
Caller: "Well everything that Kerry voted against you could say the same for **** Cheney"
Host: "Wait wait whoa whoa whoa. Are you saying that **** Cheney voted against the B1 bomber, the F-15, body armor for soldiers, the patriot missle program, and the decision to invade Iraq in the first Gulf War?"
Caller: "OK well smash the last comment. But everything else, yes Cheney voted against."
Host: "Uh.. sir, if I recall correctly Cheney supported those weapons programs."
Caller: (static silence)
Host: "I just don't understand your reasoning there, this man is the VP of the united states and you're telling me that he voted against these weaons? Sir I just don't understand where you are getting this from."
So needless to say the guy was dumb. And the lady handled it well, but if I were the host I would say something like this:
Me: "Sir you are an idiot! Anything else to say?"
Caler: "Cheney voted against these weapons and Zell Miller is just an angry old man."
Me: "Sir Zell Miller knows what he's talking about. Thanks for your uneducated and obviously brainwashed answer. My liberal friend, and I use that term loosely, you are an idiot. Owned! Thank you!"
