OK guys so I usually hit up the local gym to which I belong around 4-5 times a week..

I figured, since I'm already there I would run on the treadmill everyday I workout. The treadmills have a "speed interval" training program where you jog and manually press a button to transition from jogging to running.

What I'm trying to do is get as much training done at the gym as possible. So I'm asking what are some other good ways to incorporate running/agility/etc. into my program. I want to get some diversity into my training, targeting my endurance, speed and agility.

P.S. The gym has treadmills, bikes, stairmasters, and eliptical's

I'd personally say do your sprints outside so that way they are not fixed speed and unless your gym has agility equipment gonna have to do that outside too

yeh, I've noticed that it feels un-natural when sprinting at a fixed speed on a treadmill, sometimes I can go faster and sometimes I need to slow down..

You also probably should do cardio after you lift, or on days you don't lift.

How many days a week do you plan on doing cardio and abs? Don't be one of those morons that trains abs/chest/biceps 4-5 times a week. That's called overtraining. For one, your abs aren't going to show unless you have very low bodyfat % (8% or under). Two get some overall mass so your arms in general get huge and than cut down to have more definition. Also your tricep makes up 2/3 of your arm so if you want bigger arms don't forget your tricep. But yah get on a decent routine and don't be "that guy."

I'm not that guy, and I laugh at "those guys"..but still I wouldn't mind having toned ab's and big biceps, but thats not my training goal right now

I actually haven't done my ab's since my last lacrosse practice and just figured I'd start doing ab's three times a week

and I have a body fat of like 7%, and I know all about bulking and cutting

eh if you are doing full body lifts you don't need to do abs that much. I honestly haven't done abs in bout the last 9 months. I just don't enjoy it and my abs are already plenty strong from all the core lifts.
