Hello, I started to play box goalie about a month ago and my dad ordered me a mohawk goalie stick. My question is for someone lefthanded which side of the stick should the wood part come down when your in your stance. The one we have comes down the left put feels like it covers more area when your hold it with your right hand. Is this the right way for it to go for my hand. I tried to search but I found nothing.
Thanks

I have seen and strung both styles of sticks. In your stance, the wood wall should be on the hand you hold your stick with (ie. for a left-handed goalie, the wood wall should be closer to your left leg and vice-versa for the majority, who are right-handed).

yup hes right woodies allways have the wood side of the head on your strong hand ie. lefties have the wood on the left side of the stick.
