Okay I would like to say first that I'm didnt have time to search this before I posted. I searched a little but the question I have is kind of out there.

Okay thanks to my terrible a.d.d. I noticed that a lot of people either cant or dont shoot as differently lefty as they do righty. This is obvious. My thought is that since the 2 main things are gonna work on in the off season are my off hand and getting bigger, I should learn to shoot in different ways with my left hand. I dont know if anybody else has tried this but I'm gonna learn to shoot sidearm, overhand, low-to-high, and wormburners with both my left and right hand.

My reason for doing this is that I play attack (Mainly I specialize in playing X) and when I come around the goal I go around the right side because I am not as comfortable with my left hand.

If you have and input or experience It would help a lot. Thanks

That would be a good idea seeing how if you become more comfortable with your left hand you will have more options during the game, and will become less predictable...

I say.. go for it man

I am also working on becoming more comfortable shooting with my left hand, I play middie but I feel is that I will be more of an asset to the team if I can shoot equally with both my left and right

I try to throw lefty, but when I throw it to someone it either lands 10 feet in front of them or 40 yards away. Any help?

well what i noticed that it's more hand-eye coordination. so star using your left hand for simple tasks.

brush your teeth with your left hand, switch your mouse from righty to lefty, just do everything lefty to familiarlize you left hand-eye coordination and using your left wont seem so awkward anymore.

yes it is worthwhile to invest time being able to shoot lefty sidearm, underhand etc. but dont expect results to come over night either

make sure to practice shooting on the run and right out of a dodge aswell

Ok I think that it would be pretty hot and I think it would be worth it to make myself a threat in more places.

I'm righty, and i think 3 out of the 4 goals i scored on JV (we only had like 4 JV games) i scored lefty on wrap-arounds.. basically all i do is fake near post high, then shoot far post high on wrap-arounds, they've worked pretty well for me- especially left for some reason.. i think if you drop you stick on w.a.'s it just gives the goal more time to react or deck you

This is off topic but my favorite way to score is my team has a play where we switcha shortstick middie (an attackmans dream) and I just burn him from behind the goal and dive in front of the crease. :naughty:
