View Full Version : Just a Traditional

i don't normally string regular traditional so i decided to string this up and get some comments on it, good or bad. it throws and shoots great, no whip, and hold the ball well. i just want some honest opinions on it for future reference since this is maybe my 4th or 5th one i have ever done. enough talk... here are the pictures. if you want different angles or closer ones let me know.

i know the one leather is bunched up and slightly crooked, it may have been to loose when i started but i didnt catch it in time and the knots settled into the leathers and whenever i fix it, it just goes back.

Looks nice, I like the colors. About the leather thing it doesnt realley matter if it works well.

Looks pretty clean nice job. I don't really string anything with crosslace and leathers though. I'm planning on stringing my 1st traditional tonight and i might post pics.

It looks really nice, theres only a few places that look kinda odd but as long as it throws great than who cares how it looks. All I can say is some of your knots could be a little tighter, and as said you could make your leathers less bunched up; but other than that everything looks clean, symmetrical and well shaped.
Good job overall.

czech, i had left them loose so they had room to adjust during break in and settle in right, guess i left them too loose, oh well. thanks for the comments all.

they're actually as tight as i can get them without it having to much whip, so its working out
