So, I credit-carded my surf board yesterday, for those of you who know what that is then yeah, but luckily I landed on my tail bone instead so walking today is at a minimal, so I decided to undo my friends horrible rock-it pocket and try some traditional finally. Just a note I have never strung traditional before and I DID NOT USE A TUTORIAL, i did it all from memory of seeing a pita. I did the bottom differently so it's kinda a crappy saddle but w/e. So C + C greatly appreciated.

the diamonds are a little crooked, but other than that, it looks really good.

i've creditcarded on my surfboard too. not fun.

use the ball and butterkniefe trick overnight to get a mean pocket.

looks kind of loose and a little sloppy....looks great for not using a tut and just doing it by memory though...

good for you for not using a tutorial, but if you want a better pocket then you should use one

thanks for the C+C so far, I'll tweak it more tonight and post new pis tomorrow, muderlax, yeah it's not fun i can barely walk but I'm paddling out tomorrow, 3-4 feet and fair conditions in VA, something I can't miss

if 3-4 is somethign you can't miss, than good for you man. it's like that everyday here in san diego, around 4-5. it gets better too.

haha thanks, I'm originally from santa cruz so I know what you mean, I visit my grand parents in morro bay every summer for like a month, everyday is 3-4, and luckily im moving back next summer :)
