Hey guys, this is my E3, I strung it up last night, and threw with it today. It throws with whip, but it shoots alright, but that's why you guys are here! So critique, comment, and correct my stringing. P.S. I have no clue what I was supposed to take pictures of, so if you need more tell me.

Tell me if the images are too big and I'll just leave the URL.
Thanks guys.

Tighten up yur sidewalls. I also wouldn't reccomend skipping a hole as opposed to doubling up...it makes the pocket inconsistent. I would use all of the sidewall holes, and only double up once or twice where you want the pocket to be.

Tighten those sidewalls, thats what everyone is gonna say.

Yeah, I gotta get some pliers or something. I doubled up every hole because I was following orange's guide, and if I doubled up I had to skip some holes because it's an E3.

You don't want to double up every hole because they will make the pocket a huge bag. In Orange's tutorial it says to only double up where you want the pocket. And if you really wanted to, you can double up on every hole and you don't need to skip holes...it would just be illegal.

Alright, so I should redo the sidewalls and only double up closer to the bottom?

Redo the sidewalls, using every hole, and double up once or twice near the bottom (if that's where you want your pocket.)

Yea, interlocking whould help also, it would make the channel more defined and help out with keeping the mesh consistant
Cut the end off your sidewalls and then burn the tip. It looks like they're frayed pretty bad.

I think it looks fine, but im no stringer. I think to get some more whip for a shot, you should tighten up those shooters.maybe the top.

the reason is it lipping, or as you described getting caught under the topstring, is because of the looseness of the sidewalls which cause the mesh to move around more, and you dont need pliers to get tight sidewalls just string them tight. and yea use more sidewalls and just double up where you want the pocket.

Alright, I redid the sidewalls, also tightened them as tight as I can, I want to put in a nylon, where should I put it in and how? Is it the same as doing a shooter?

yea its the same as doing a shooter, you can either weave or roll it, and it is usually put up to to reduce lip, but its mostly for more feel as the ball is released.

put the nylon maybe a row under the top string, the tighter it is, the less lip you will have (Lip: The ball hitting the plastic of the scoop when you throw or shoot). Also, as said many times, get those sidewalls fixed up a bit. If that still didn't fix it, go for a basic triangle topstring. After, make sure the shooters are how you like them, give it a legal check, and voila! Overall it looks fine though

Nylon added and sidewalls redone, critique please. It whips a little still.

Your sidewalls are still loose and need to be tightened up.

You skipped a hole were your shooting string is.

it looks as though you used a few different types of sidewall styles...
No bad though. Keep on Stringing.

Thanks for all the help guys, I went out and threw with it after tightening up the sidewalls and it throws great, can't wait to get better and do some more and maybe try a traditional or custom eventually.
