Rinsing after Dye

OK i have searched for this.

On some of the tutorials it says to rinse off the head after dyeing with cold water. Is this important because you would think the dye would rinse right off?

no, if you leave it in the dye until the dye sets, it will not rinse off

if the water is cold and you left it in the dye long enough then it won't rinse off it will lock it in

yea it washes off teh extra and cures the dye
