Re-dyeing my p2

i dyed my p2 black but its statring to turn purple. ive heard that if you do navy and the go over it w/ black it works good. do u guys think i should go navy over the current black, then another black, or just do another black

just dye it black. no need for the base coat or watever technique, seeing as its now purple. you only need to dye it a lighter color when dying a white head

he probably only needs one packet, but 2 is a good idea to make sure its black and stays black this time
