Dont get:the 6 diamond peice or the ball stops.
get more than 2 leathers, and gte more hard mesh
get a piece of 8d mesh along with the 6d and a hard mesh

i think you should get all of the same mesh so all of your sticks feel the same

catapultion is the best thing they sell. by far.
nah i had catapulsion for a while but it doesnt break in well and doesnt seem to have as much hold as normal hardmesh.

its all prefrence my personal favorite is 5D some of my friends hate it. its all you so lets not argue about what is the best mesh jimalax sells
dont get the ball stops the mesh kits come with them
and defently get more leather

i'm not buying kits though, i just need a few spare ball stops.
btw, i'm only buying sidewall string, no crosslace as its too expensive and i like mesh better anyways. the leathers are for a channel in a 10d pocket.

exactly...get your favorite kind of mesh and stick with it ... unless you have something specific that you want to try.

You can get these pads called "foamies" at craft store or Wal-mart. They have sticky backs, are the same thickness as ball stops from jimalax, and come in 8x10 sheets, so you can make a lot of ball stops with them.
At the Wal-marts around me a sheet costs 50 cents.
edit- They all don't have sticky backs, make sure you get the ones that do.
