Hey guys, I'm from Jersey. My HS team ain't too good but two schools are interested in me. But Jersey is cold as hell. Damn I want to move somewhere warm. Are there any D3 teams down South that are decent/afforable schools?
I'm thinkin Georgia or Floria or maybe the Carolinas.
If I can't play lax I wouldn't want to go to a school. And if I can't go to a school down south I'll stay and freeze in Jersey and get my teacher's certificate while playing D3 lax. What do you think?

most schools down here play club ball. they play in the SELC which is a part of the USL-MDIA. the only schools with NCAA programs down here are UNC, Duke, and Limestone. Otherwise, you're out of luck, unless you're willing to play club ball, which is nothing to be ashamed of. a few SELC schools, such as Ga Tech, even hand out scholarships if you're good enough.

You could play for ASU or U of A. Is 110 degrees warm enough for you?

My friend plays for U of A, and they're a club team. I beleive he was looking for a D3 team.
Bonus Points: Geraldo Rivera played goalie at Arizona.

The name of journalist and talk show host Geraldo Rivera has become synonymous with more sensational forms of talk television. His distinctive style, at once probing, aggressive, and intimate, has even led, at times to parody by a variety of print and broadcast mediums.
He is quite possibly the worst talk show host EVER. A good talk show host...haha, what an oxymoron.

besides the obvious (and postedpreviously) schools, such as duke(d1) unc(d1) limestone(d2), you have a whole load of good schools with decent lacrosse programs in north carolina, all d2 schools. then you have club programs at auburn, florida, GT, georgia, FSU, and such, so many many options.
