My name is Ross Lorimer, a sport psychology researcher from Edinburgh. I am currently involved in examining competitive anxiety and self presentation in sport.
This is a request for help. I am looking for competitive players from a variety of disciplines and competitive levels to complete brief questionnaires. The players can be male or female, and of any level. I am particularly interested in those competitors between the age of 16 and their late twenties, although suitably mature players who are younger than this are welcome, as are any older competitors.
If you are willing to help then the easiest way is to complete the questionnaire online at:

If however you have access to a large number of players I can also either A - email you the questionnaire, have you print them out, complete them and then post them to me (I will reimburse any costs if informed of the amount prior to expenditure), or B - I'll post them to you with a stamped addressed envelope for their return. If so please email with an affirmative and an approximate number of questionnaires required.
Any help is very, very much appreciated as the response to this kind of research is often very low resulting in a small sample size that makes statistics difficult.
