i've been practicing my off hand by playing wallball, are there special things you could do on wallball or different type of workouts that are good for the off hand?

Not really anything special you can do, just keep on the wall, increase your numbers each day, do like 200 off hand, and 100 dominate, then next day maybe do 275 off, 200 dominate, you could do more, depending on how much time you have, those numbers where just an example.

do everything that you normall do with your strong hand with your offhand
brushing your teeth turning off the lights etc.

i also play wall ball on top of my garage because that is like the only brick part on my house, is that bad because the part i play is like 7 feet tall so im playing wallball by throwing the ball really high and everytime it comes back it bounces on the ground,
should i find a new wall?

and would a powermaster actually help significantly?

Ha, I use my chimney for wall ball, but its about 30 feet tall and about 10 feet wide at the base getting smaller higher up but it works extremely well for me

In the last month I decided I'd work as hard as I can to improve my left hand and make it equal to my right, I can do everything equally right and left now except for shooting left handed. The main way I did it, was to wear wrist weights on my left wrist only, 5 pounds, while doing everything I used to only do w/ my right such as brushing my teeth with my left hand. Now I've gotten to the point where I use 5 pounds on one side and 2.5 on the right because I don't want my right to go to waste.

Cradling with a goalie stick lefty is very helpful for controlling the ball with your left. I tried it when my brother was playing a for a game and now my lefty is great.

It should vary from drill to drill on the wall, heres a link I saw on another thread that may clear things up a bit.

for the link, just go to the glendalelacrosseleague.com, then click on wallball from there

and again with length of how far you should stand back, even if for the one handers, should you be 5 yards back, thats pretty rough on my arms,

how far do you guys stand back for each drill

Instead of buying a powermaster you could fill the shaft with sand maybe. 5 yards out seems good if its rough on your arms. But if your arms hurt then move closer but if they're just tired then stay at 5 yards

What i try, which helps switching hands to, is catching with right then switching to left and throwing with left and catching with left and then switching again to right. So you throw catch switch throw catch switch etc.

the best thing to do is just play with it. there is nothing really special, theres no magic thing you can buy. That weighted shaft may work but why buy it. Just throw all the time and dont even use your dominant hand. Shoot all the time, just get out an play for the best results. Thats all you need to do, thats all.
