I was wondering if this dye was possible. I want to take an X2 and dye the whole head orange and then do the sidewall bars black. Is this possible? I know i could tape up the whole head cept for the bars but I don't think that will work, Should i just dye the bars orange and the head black?
hmm well i suppose you could put hot glue on the whole head cept the bars but that would take a long time too. so yea maybe just do the bars orange and head black

yeah it would take quite a long time. I suggest you just do the bars orange and the head black

seems possible but a major pain in the rear. I'm thinking you could dye it orange, tape (electrical tape, DONT use duct tape it leaves checkerboard pattern...) off the areas around the sidewall that you want black and just hold the head in the black dye just enough to cover one side of the sidewalls instead of the whole head (y'know, sideways so it only dyes the sidewalls)
just go with orange bars and black head.
I've had nothing but good experiances with electrical tape. It kept my Vapor on my shaft until i got a screw...while looking ghetto to DA MAX. Hehehe good times :nahya:
I have yet to try dying with electrical tape though... somewhere i read that you should get a blowdryer and heat the tape just a little bit.

yeah but if you leave spaces with the tape overlapping, and it comes up a bit, the dye seeps under and makes little marks all over the head. check the reversal dye on ln to see what I mean.
