I am a incomming junior and i played jv the last two years but intend to play varsity for the last 2 years of my high school career. I wanted to know if it was to late in the recruiting process to start sending letters to colleges i was intrested in. Also would me being on jv for the first two years hurt my chances of getting recognized by any of the coaches.

it's not to late, go to some camps this summer and send letters/game tapes
and being on JV won't hurt you, but it won't help you. if you go to John Jay or a school with amazing players that would start over you, than being on JV is ok, but if you go to a school where the varsity program isn't great, and you don't make it, some coaches might not be as interested unless they see film
