DVD home theater speakers

its been a while since i've tried to hook up the speakers, and the last time i did it i basically just tried what looked right- but it didn't work..i didn't think to come to the 'ol trusty TLFers about the problem, first i just like to see if anybody can help me, if so then i will go into further details.. anybody got any experience with this stuff, or maybe you could help me if you just know about electrical wiring?? thanks

If it's a Home-Theater-In-a-Box I could point you in the right direction, but if you picked out everything separately, you could have a huge mess of problems, none of which I think I could help you with.

yes an out of the box system- i just don't think i am putting the wires in correctly, like into the back of the dvd player..got any advice?

Follow the directions. HTIB systems are pretty fool-proof, ask your dad if it's really that hard, but if you have the papers, just use them as a guide. If your dvd player is separate from your reciever, make sure you hook the speakers up to the reciever. Post a link to your product for better advice.
