So I plan to play some water polo this fall/summer for my school
Im new to the game of water polo
Does anyone have tips
or drills
all are appreciated

treading water... swimming laps... thats about all i can think of at the moment

Jab em in the ribs so the refs won't see it. That's coming from a veteran player. Just spend a lot of time in the water, to make it harder, wear sweat pants and attempt to tread for however long you can.

Ankle weights while treading water..... (That’s what I did when I did like really competitive swim team)

What Wister said. Water polo is the dirtiest game I have ever played. Long fingernails on guys, elbows, kicks. And this wasn't even a really competitive league. Also, just be a poolrat. Swim constantly. Laps, treading. Most of all, don't be afraid to play dirty back.

Tred water with your hands over your head thats what i do and it works really well.

Water polo is so dirty i got punched in the face for splashing water in someones eyes lol. I have also been choked under water and kicked.

tread water while holding milk jugs filled with water for a LONG time.
the waterolo kids at my school do that and our team is the best in our league. i think they went to state too, im not sure.

jw from your inputs, im guessing water polo is dirtier than lacrosse?
if it is, i might try water polo out lol

Lacrosse isn't that dirty compared to a lot of sports out there.
