mesh went from hard to soft mesh in 2 days. whats wrong?

I just got brand new warrior hard mesh from my cousin. And i strung my stick and already it has become really soft after 2 days. I have only thrown about like 200 wall ball reps with it but its almost like soft mesh. What is wrong? And how do i fix it?

it mightve just been a bad batch not enough coating or something...it happens to me every once in a while

was it warrior diamond mesh or just hard mesh? cuz i dont think warrior hard mesh if very good... id go for the diamond mesh

u cant "fix" it you either have to get a new piece of mesh or deal with it softer =\

try getting canadian mesh from lax.com thats a hard mesh that lasts forever it seems

probably 90% of people on here will recomend hard mesh from jima and in the special instructionsbox just write mesh extra hard please or something along those lines

i agree, i put it in my friends truth and in my cyber. its double thick, double wide, double beast. i still have the same peice and its like 3 years old.

huh, my warrior hard mesh seemed to be almost too stiff for me. Try hairspray (the extra-hold kind)

theflyinglaxer thats because warrior's new mesh is really stiff almost to stiff I think and there old one was kinda like jima semi hard.

If you don't like the softness of the pocket and don't want to spend more money on another piece of mesh, then either spraypaint the pocket or dip it in deck sealer. Either way it'll really stiffen it up.

okay i know hardmesh doesnt go "soft" after two days. it may be "not as hard", but it will not get to the point of softmesh in two days.

if you want mesh that will stay hard for a long time, go with colored mesh.

Did you soak/condition/shampoo it before you strung it? That usually helps soften up the mesh quickly, so if you did that prior to stringing, that's probably the reason why it got soft so quick. Next time, skip that step and just wallball with the pocket until it breaks in naturally.
