dont know if my letter is legit?

I got a letter from hofstra the other day saying the coach saw me play at the empire tryouts and liked me a lot and they're interested in recruiting me. however after they say all that the letter talks 'bout how they'd ilke me to attend this camp that hofstra runs and they include a brochure. at the bottom of the letter the coach wrote "michael, we'd love to work with you. coach T" now do u think this letter is legit or just a ploy to get kids to enroll in their camp?

My geuss is that they probably sent similar letters to quite a few other players. Not to say its bogus, but they are looking for potential recruits, so they are going to try to get another look at all of them, and therefore are going to send lots of letters that are similar to that to other kids.

they sent me the same thing, i'm not going to waste my time and money when another goalie from my class has already committed

The letter is probably legit. A lot of coach like their recruits to come to their summer camps. Its a great way to meet the coaching staff and visit the school. If you're still having doubts, just send the coach an email, he'll respond.

Its probably just for the camp, but they have scouts and recruits at the camp so i would attend

my experience has always been positive and if you want to go to Hofstra it has the power to put you on top of other recruits that were previously on top of you.

ya i would email the coach first before u just go

theyll call u later on after the camps n ****.. thats when u know its legit.
