Live Free or Die Hard

so has anyone here see it? I saw it last night and i thought it was good movie standard die hard movie Mclane kicks butt and saves the day. i say 8.5/10 but i am still fan of Die hard 3. (person opinion would have like to seen Samual L Jackson in the movie again would have been cool to see them both try to save the day again). thought the villian seemed pretty weak compared to die hard 1 and 3 in my opinion.

i think it looks pretty awfully special effects packed. At least the preview makes it seem that way. Don't get me wrong, I like SFX, but this just seems WAYYY over the top.

its way over the top but it was a great kind of escape from death film. Its kinda scarey though. I dont know much about computers or hacks and operating systems, but I wonder if that cyberterrorism stuff can be done?

It's like a roller coaster ride you don't want to get off. The fighter jet was a bit much, but hey it's Die Hard right? Lots of laughs, Justin Long steals every scene he's in. It will definitely do big numbers . . .

Its the best movie i saw this year. Its probably the best and now my favorite Die Hard. It was soo good. I was not expecting much but from start to finish, it was awesome. My favorite scene is when hes beating up the asian girl.

Nothing wrong with being old. Old action heroes are grizzled. They called Clint Eastwood over the hill, he made Unforgiven and won best picture. So yeah, I still want to see him, just like I still want to see Stallone (whose way older than Willis) destroy people in then next Rambo. Age, feh, some of the young guys aren't ready for the torch to be passed.

I plan on seeing this tomorrow with my Dad. We've both been looking forward to it.

this was probably one of the most FUN action movies i've seen in forever. i didnt go in expecting much, i thought itd be a downer since it was pg-13, i thought they were just trying to gain an audience and were desperate. But from the beginning to the end, i thought it was an amazing movie. Bruce Willis is still a BA as an older dude, and both Justin Long and Kevin Smith were perfectly cast. I think i had more of a good time in this than any movie lately.

i saw it yesterday. sure some parts were a little ridiculous( plane, semi) but overall i thought it was a really good movie

I liked it... It was funny though a guy would be on the side of a guy going at least 40 miles an hour smoke a trashcan and get back up to call the boss. Also the Chineese "prostitute" as Bruce Willis put it got her *but* whooped and would be just faking her injuries and still fight.

My girlfriend and I both thought it was an amazing movie. It's action packed, a pretty good story, and pretty funny. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

So after seeing the movie yesterday, that was one of the things that really made it (other than having something blow up every 5 seconds, that helped a lot too). But having him act as this "I'm getting to old for this" while still showing whose boss was great. Good pacing too, once the action started the movie really didn't slow down for much. Perfect summer flick for those interested.

i just watched it, it was on google video and the quality was amazing, it wasn't taped but it was DVD quality.

i though the blend between action, and humor was great and the action scenes were pretty intense

It was a good movie but the f-35 part was so stupid. That was way over the top. But besides that a really good movie. I liked the idea that most of the stuff in this movie could actually happen.
Did anyone notice the windshield in the helicopter car chase part? One frame it shows the windows all smashed in and the next the car has not a scratch on it. lol.
