I am wondering what you guys and girls think about Dan Dawson and what cool moves/tricks youve seen him do in games?. I think he is amazing and last night I saw him score a jumping one handed throught the legs goal :drool: .

Dan Dawson is awesome!!! He has such sick moves, and on top of that he has the size that can dominate any player.

Daws is the man. He's got a shot between the legs that's pretty cool. I clocked him at 96 MPH at our camp a few weeks ago. Every day during camp he showed the kids a new trick to learn. He told us that he's decided to try field next season, probably w/ the NLL but possibly the MLL. One of the best teachers of the game as well. He and Matt Brown run Pirana Lacrosse.

That might be one of the things DDD stood/stands for but I remember him saying stuff like "I was a boozehound" and it talking about a drink he made called "killer kool-aid" that was made by mixing vodka and kool-aid.

It is true that he used to be known as Drinking Dan Dawson, but he turned that around and now is known as Dangerous. Read the article on him in Inside Lacrosse from a year or 2 back, its really good. And yeah, Dawson is AMAZING. He is by far my favorite player. I would be so excited if he started to play MLL and if he came to play in Denver with Matt Brown, that would be pretty much the coolest thing ever. Then he would be playing for both of my favorite teams.

Dan Dawson is incredible on more than one level. The man is tall, so he takes alot of abuse that others might not encounter. He rarely retaliates putting his team a man down. He has stick skills almost rivaling Grant and Kellusky. He's fast......and....

Last year after the Mann Cup had been won by Peterborough, he stood outside the security area and signed anything that a kid put in front of him. A couple of others were there with him, including Ratcliff, but he showed some real class putting aside some time for the kids. (I know he talked to my son for a few minutes about how his lacrosse was going while he wore a Lakers T Shirt)

Big Dan Dawson, does anybody remember the all-star game in Portland?

Actual does anybody remember the freestyle portion of the all-star competition?

If not then lemme just give you the play-by-play of the move he did to win: stick in right hand cradling (butt end of the shaft)...spin move past around a ball that was left by "The House"(Mark Steenhuis) all with the stick still in his right hand, but to top it off he turns around and takes a no look shot(not a pass, a legit wrist shot) that goes top cheese past the goalie.

Despite the fact that I was watching it on the tele, I must say that Double D/Drinking Dan Dawson/Big Dan Dawson/Dangerous Dan Dawson/I dare you try and stop me/GOAL....is one of my favorite lacrosse players.
