Hey guys, anyone know whats up with alllacrosseamerica.com? I have heard a rumor that ala went down and i know there aer ala mods and posters on here, can anyone explain what happened?

I'm having trouble accessing it myself. I was not notified about any changes or problems with the site. I know the people running it were not always happy with the way it was run, and the actual workers for the site kept disappearing. Maybe the person who was running it finally pulled the plug.

If anyone does know for sure, please let us know! I loved that site as much as any lax forum, and I feel that the community there was truely one of a kind!

Phil doesn't know. Like I've told people before, he's not associated with the site anymore other than the fact that the owner owes him lots of money.

Well, I posted this on *********, so I'll post it here:

My buddy had a chance encounter with the owner of the ALA. He talked to him breifly, and mentioned that he is on their message board. The owner got very upset, and walked away grumbling. Needless to say, that was a thorn in his side, and he wasn't too happy to discuss it.

Connect that with the money owed to Phil, and the consistant degrading of the site, and I think that we can officially consider the ALA, DOA (thats dead-on-arrival for those who don't know).

Guys, even though ALA was a great site, now this gives this site a great chance to become the top forum for lacrosse. Not all is lost, Lax Nation is a promising new site, that I think could be better than ALA. I hope people now spread the word even more about this site.

No I'm not, but it's too bad that it went down, seems like ALA was about to close down anyway.

Hey if someone wants to re-register that domain and try to revive ALA, I might even consider donating. But for now, RIP ALA

There used to be a link to his services on the ALA homepage. He's a good kid, I like Phil. As far as the ALA site, when Phil ran it, it was better developed (I'm not knocking the forum or Phair or JR or APM, I'm talking about the rest of the site). It's such a shame that him and Craig had a falling out...
