mainly stringing..might throw in a little dying..im not good at dying so lol..im also doin it on my torque so thats a little diff(with the flattened scoop and cut ridged and pinch and all)... kryptic and livin4lax can probably relate to this..its hard coming up with a string job that is unique....so all i did was put 2 leathers in the center and strung free hand...no design in mind or anything lol..im gonna call the pocket 'the wing' bc i was just wingin it as i went along

i just did this comin up for diff parts as i went along...tried to make something thats diff than other pockets (whcih is hard) ...this is right after i finished it so its extremely sloppy with no adjustments to bare with me on this...its basically got 2 leathers on the inside then outside i made braids out of nylon for leathers ...the second pic is just the inside rail of the pocket to show the braid

I am stabbing it with hedge clippers trying to make it explode. It was really fun.

I do some stringing, not that much of it though. Everyone thinks I do a ton of it, but I'm more of a mesh person myself. I think custom pockets are fun to string, but they don't perform nearly as well as a well-strung mesh pocket, and they are much harder to keep performing well.

I agree. I had a stint with a mesh-x pocket. It was cool looking but performed exactly like a well channeled mesh pocket. O well.

Brent in your webshots you have a title that doesnt have any pictures in it yet. It is called "Dyed Torque: the illusionistic dissolve". I remember you saying the next LN dye was going to be really good and that it was probably one if not your best dye job you have ever done. Is this what the next LN dye is going to be or am i did i miss something.

umm...check out the title. THat's a good hint. It's nice and fun and cool words. But I don't know when the new article will be up, because I haven't even written it yet. lol. OK, this is what ben has of mine. 1) an analysis of different pocket placements and the pros and cons, and who benefits from a high pocket vs. low pocket. 2) a tutorial on how to change your pocket placement, much better than the one in my webshots. (I don't know whether Ben will combine the two or not) then 3, to be written) My dye article on the new dye, and 4, to be written) the mark millon interview. I haven't wanted to wait so long, I've just been busy and sick. I was going to interview him this weekend, but I wanted to do it when he could understand me and my nose wasn't all stuffed up.
