It seems that the winds of change have finally died down on the face of the NLL, and in the wake three teams are now in the west, and two are completely missing. We're in for a rough season NLL fans....or maybe not. It seems that the idea the NLL has is for the East and West divisions to primarily play themselves, with limited playing time against each other. Nice idea, but in the east, that means that the division of the Wings, Bandits, Rock and K-Hawks all have to play each other 4 times! If you want rough and tumble, look no further! If those teams haven't killed each other by the time the playoffs roll around, they should be able to tear through the west on the way to the championship!

But beyond speculation, the next step on the way to the 2004 regular season is finishing the Collective Bargaining Agreement. That is supposed to be finished soon.....but it could go on forever....that's just how the NLL works sometimes.

Stay posted, as information comes in.........really really slowly!:laugh

Why doesn't Vancouver join the East division, aren't they closer to the East than the West. Anyway, about the East sittuation, I think they are defintely the top division. I won't even try to predict who much they blow out the West in the all-star game.

Vancouver is in Brittish Columbia. They are about 150 miles north of Seattle, Washington.

But you are correct about the East being better, but the West does have some real talent out there. Keep in mind, just because the cities are new, doesn't mean the talent is.....

I hope so too. Word out of Columbus was that there is a real solid lacrosse community out there, and if the Landsharks were marketed properly, there would've been enough fans. I hate it for that area, because I feel it could've worked.

Don't worry, the NLL is still relatively young, and will not be turned away by early mistakes. At some point (yes it may take about 5 years or so), the NLL may start looking in your area again. I don't know if anything would come sooner....but there is still specualtion that lacrosse in that area isn't dead.
