Anybody have any news of Georiga players in big tournaments this year, I know Pace has a few kids at 205 and Team Georgia plays at some quality tournaments but i was seeing how the sport was growing and what we can expect for next years season

You can expect more and more kids going D1, that's for sure.

Very true. If it's any indication of the quality we've been having coming out of there just to our club team, I know that D1 schools are going to be getting even better kids.

Where and who?
We are not there yet RHS. Local GA kids should be more realistic. Its a pure numbers game. Number of lacrosse players nationwide, number of Ga players and then the number of DI opportunities.... hhhmmm, do the math. 56 DI teams.... there are over 40 HS teams in GA alone.

GA skill is rising but its still very young here. Do you not think hotbed areas are getting better while we close the gap so to speak? I love that some programs are traveling out of state to take on top talent. I wish more Ga schools would do that. I think it would help A LOT. Sorry to see Tew not make the U19 team, that would have been HUGE for the south but we still have some miles to go my friend.

and owen green from lovett was on IL's top juniors from bluechip highlight reel...

I like Owen's game and kolody not a bad player either.
I wonder how the travel team that buszek coaches did at Notre dame this weekend

the team to be on is the atl shockers. coached by buczek, souza, and gannon. we had some studs. it was an awesome team. we went up to pennsylvania and did okay.
and hey where can you find that highlight reel with owen on it


and also tew didnt try out for u19 he was in canada or something. somewhere thats not the US.

Ya my neighbor was on team Georgia U13 they went up to massachusetts and played some quality teams even beating a few lacrosse is definitly blowing up down here

the team that went to notre dame was the lovett team and they went 4 and 2 and came in 3rd place i believe. the team did very well... obviously

its an invite thing. Coaches go around asking the players they like to be on the team. No real try outs.
Heard that team will be in the summer 7v7 next year. Trying to get other travel teams to play as well. Would be cool to have them play one another. Doublestixx said they were in. Need trident and Team GA to complete it.

ATL Shockers is mostly Pace, Lovett and Westminster kids I think.

I went to the florida for ga festival, and i am on the u-15 team georgia team and we went to lake george and beat the nj lacrosse academy for the title , also are copperheads team won the georgia games just recently.

i think he was on the u-13 team i was on the u-15 team, but i played against him in the georgia games.

Ya, just remembered that, he's still a beast. My neighbor, Jake Jackson, played u-13 and I would've except got injured. Who is ya'lls goalie though?

hey tyler platt is gonna go to sprayberry. he's only gonna be in 7th grade but he's already playing in some of are summer league games to get him ready

no he's gonna play jv in 2 years, since hes still in 7th grade/middle school right now. or maybe varsity

he might be able to play varsity when he gets to highschool since he's already playing games with us. by his freshman year he should be really good. and after this year's senior class we wont have any goalies..
