ummmm, laxinsmith i donno about your team, but ours is still a club sport in waterford.... we dont get V letters or school funding for anything so im not sure about what you said in the faq. i think most teams in south east michigan arent officially varsity except for the catcholic and private teams.. but as far as all the others i dont believe the mhsaa has sanctioned lacrosse as a varsity sport and wont until the 2005 season... just inquiring..

Michigan has Lacrosse as a reconized Varsity Sport, but your school may not have one, i know many schools in my area, like northville, who has just had a club team and no varsity up until about last year. Normally club teams do not also incorporate a Varsity Letter. But some clubs maybe different.

What I was stating in the "1: Is Lacrosse a Recognized Varsity Sport In my State?" post was that there are VARSITY programs active in those states, meaning that many schools in these states give letters for VARSITY lacrosse. But not all, im sorry if I wasn't very clear in my post.

most teams by detroit lansing and Grand rapids are in fact recognised varsity sports at their respective schools... not until you get to the d3 or d4 teams do you see non recognized clubs... even at lansing waverly a school known traditionaly as a satelite school for lacrosse it is considered varsity
