I just got to try out the new scorpion longpole in buffalo. Its beefier then the titan pro but lighter the the classic. I loved it.

I saw it too at a tourney this weekend...I think is is a classic grip, with lazer engraved logos...nothing special, very cool looking but not flashy.

They told me the regular titanium should be priced around what's out there now, but the exogrid titanium would be expensive, but nearly indestructible...I'd shell out the big bucks if it lasted a couple of years. I'd never do it if it was up to the regular Ti standards...which seem to dent/bend/break all the time...

yeah it would seem a little unnecessary for a ti handle with the exo-ridge. because their strongest/best handle now is a 7000 with the exo ridge and i heard its damn strong

So your friend tells you Serpent is closing.
We'll see, in the mean time we'll just think of serpent lacrosse NOT closing down.
I'm not gonna believe a friend of yours, i want cold hard facts: Get the owner up here or something.

Back on topic: I looked up the scorpion website and the exogrid grip looks nice.
The grip looks like something that won't wear off in three months like other companies' shafts.
How much are they retailing for the pole, i find $300 bucks hard to believe, that's even more than those black dragon shafts from a while back.

rouge is lighter than genisis for the info, i beleive it was like 6.8 ounces for genisys and 5.8 for rouge, i was considering them earlier. those a short pole lengths obviously.

i just ordered the SC-1 from serpent, and i had also heard rumors that serpent had "closed down" or "wasnt in business anymore" and stuff like that so i emailed them and got an answer back within a day saying they are in business still and doing fine....

scorpion does make a product (c14) that is basically identical to the shafts that serpent makes

Serpent Lacrosse was started up by a group of guys, but two of the guys became fed up with only making composite shafts. Chris and another guy who's name I don't know left, and created Scorpion Lacrosse. As far as I know, Serpent Lacrosse is not shutting down. They are different companies. Serpent only makes composite shafts, and Scorpion makes one composite and multiple metal-based shafts. If you are interested in any Scorpion products, just PM me. I am a dealer for Scorpion and sell all of their equipment. Argument settled. Scorpion and Serpent are DIFFERENT companies.
