They have Gait Thrust's in my local store and I had a chance to handle one. I don't care for it. The scoop is very curved, similar to a regular field head that has been pinched for box.
The pinch is very similar to the STX Profile. The stringing location on the scoop are very unique and one should not ever were out the nylons on the scoop. Regarding the angled head insertion, think of it as a short version of the STX crank shaft. Same idea, slightly different execution.
