Helix for Defense

Yesterday i started going to a local lax camp and to my surprise a lot of kids were using helix's on their poles and i was surprised. They said that it worked for them and i saw their point. It's not really all that felixible, nice pinch and good scoop. but i never hear of people using helix's for defense. anyone have any input?

I have also seen quite a few poles who use the Helix, also.

poles can use any head depending on their preference, many use evo pro's and PP's..
