New Mikey Powell-like Grip

I just got a new stick; a kryptolyte, and I wanted to do a semi-AWESOME original grip. This grip is somewhat like Mikey Powell's criss-cross tape grip, with MUCH smaller strands of tape. I plan on coating my tape pattern with rubber in order to make it even more grippy and have it last longer.

That is the only term I could think of to refer to it as.. Because of the criss-crossing tape. I just saw it at the Powell camp and it reminded me of it, lol. What is wrong with referring to it as that?

yea since its so thin it will come off real fast so your gonna need more layers

its not really done right, criss cross has the cross at the same area on the shaft.

It crisses, and it crosses... Therefore it is a criss-cross.

yeah halfway through a game, all of the tape will have come off. Its just too thin. If you layer up the tape a bit, like 2 more layers and then put on maybe 1 coat of plastidip, that would probably be pretty good.
