gloves with cuffs

im thinking about cutting the cuffs off of my defts because i just dont like them. i never had a wrist check problem with other gloves that dont have cuffs but i was just wondering if anyone cuts the cuffs off of their gloves or if anyone has had problems after doing so

I'm not a fan of the cuffs either but I play defense and don't have to worry about the wrist checks that much. Granted I usually go for wrists on attackman so it's unfortunate for any attack that cut them off.

if your attack keep the cuffs. you need the protection. same if your a middie i think cause if your a middie you take some bad slashes while advancing the ball.

I love the cuffs on my defts. But the cuffs on my ipros ill have to get used to because the wrist area is tighter. I only get gloves with cuffs because they are comfortable for me. I hate the string cuffs.

I wouldn't cut them out. Unless their so uncomfortable they mess up your game, it's better to be safe than sorry. I was once in a groundball scum, and the middie behind me wound up and just threw his stick down on me. The shaft ended up nailing my wrist. I couldn't feel anything in my middle and pointer finger and half of my thumb was numb. ya, not fun.

You're not gonna get in trouble for cutting your cuffs off. I've used hitman's 5.0 and they had extra arm protection extending from the shoulder caps and I took those off. Can't say I've ever had anything said to me about it.
