Faceoff- That exact same thing happened to me. When I voted it was ok, then very good, now pretty slow again.

Yes I have. It is making me really mad. I can't even see everything in the posts now. PLease fix this tlf.

Mine's kinda wierd. Occasionally, it will seem like the page froze after I click a link, then it will suddenly change right to the link. Other times it loads almost to the end, but that last bit will then take uber long to load. But most of the time it seems a bit faster.

I think there should be a new pole. The results in the poll are only accurate for a time. When the speed changes, we can't re-vote to adjust to what we see.

for the past like 3-4 days it has been EXTREMELY slow taking roughly 10 to 20 seconds to load a page. and all other websites are fine for me

One of the fundamental rules of web design is 'make your webpage fast & easy to download'. If you're on a connection below 3 MBPS, TLF crawls. If you're on dial-up, you might as well forget about it all together.

Mine got ALOT slower.

I used to be able to open pages in 2 or 3 seconds, now it takes 15 - 20 seconds just to click on a thread or a new page or anything.

It takes like 30 seconds for me, when the old layout, before I was a member, was 1 or 2 seconds. I have high speed by Time Warner Cable by the way

I just installed adblock plus for firefox, site loads MUCH faster. It's the ads that are slowing down my load speed. Perhaps we can talk to our advertisers and let them know about quality hosting for their ads?
