Does anyone know anything about this camp? Is it a good camp to get looks at from coaches?
its more of a tournament than a camp

My brother played in this tournament, there were a lot of teams. It was really sick playing on Johns Hopkins main field. It was a well run tournament.

My son was on the TD Lax team from Texas that beat Madlax 10-2.

It was not meant as a burn. If it appeared that way I apologize, I just thought it was cool that a team from Texas caould hold their own at such a great tourney.

yo champ camps were awesome to watch this weekend, saw the impressive field of 64 dwindle down to 16, and finally to the last 2 standing,. Tons of D1 caliber players and great competition was a theme of the weekend. the Dukes were awesome. ,but the Crossroads team who they played against in the championship definetly gave them a run for the money. the Second half Defensive stand by Crossroads was led by outstanding Goalie Ryan Brant from Dematha. this kid was a brick wall. best goalie in the tournament Hands down. and hes only a rising junior!?!

Yes... Brant came up huge for us in several games, he had a great Tourny. Playing with him is very nice too, he talks real well in cage.

I think it is great when goalies get their props in HS lax. So often they are blamed for the loses, but never get credit for the wins.

You're right - goalies usually get the blame even when their d lets down. Not a one man show. Saw brant play and he knows how to direct his d. He made some incredible saves during the game I watched.

My son was one of the goalies on the TD Lax team. They took 2 goalies. They each played a half. I think the most goals he allowed in a half was 3. I am proud of how well he did.

I can tell you there were more college coaches there than I had seen at any other Tournament. One of the games we played in was watched by the head coaches of the following teams: Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Brown, Duke.... just to name a few. The were a bunch of coaches from D-1, D2, and D3. This was a great tournament, and it was well organized.

Yo first off, here are the champ camp photos http://www.champcamp.com/photos.html
and also to the TD lax guy, the team TD lax played was the Madlax blue team which is not their good team. Actually blue had a lotta players on it that were really not good at all at lacrosse but made it because they knew people. I wasnt one of those kids (I was on madlax blue) so it was frustrating. I also had one of the two goals against TD lax haha
uh yeah its my dads camp so if you have any questions id be glad to answer them
