so what things do you do differently in summer ball that you don't do during the regular season? i know a lot of people have the "summer bag" in their sticks since the refs don't check sticks in summer league, at least around here they don't. along with that, i don't wear shoulder pads and i don't wear a cup in summer league. my play style is also different in summer league. during the regular season, i was mostly a dodger/feeder, but now i'm taking more shots and play on the crease sometimes. i also do a lot more one-handed wrap checks on defense :naughty: . those are always nice. i play with a wooden shaft, too, so it's extra :naughty: :naughty: :naughty: .

oh and i also promised myself that i would score a diving goal before the season's over. haven't had a chance to do it yet, but hopefully i will soon.

yeah, for me its basically just playing with a different style than i would in the regular season. pretty much taking more shots instead of feeding, etc.

i play the same pretty much. i tend to go for the crazy take-away checks more in summer though. but other than that, i do everything else the same. i attempt shots(im lsm/d), clear the field ALOT, go crazy with my checks, ....

I play d and i either throw crazier checks or i just play straight up left handed nvr switching to my right (im a righty)

I come out of the goal to hit people a lot more, and take more runs up the field. I like surprising people with my speed at 35.

like you, I just play a whole new style to kind of broaden my horizons. I also like to switch it up and play a different position sometimes. Since I'm occasionally a LSM in the regular season, I play D to help my defense and use of a longpole get better.

I try to not get run over and lose my positioning against huge attackman, since the guys I play against during the summer are mainly college and veteran laxers.

i throw any type of check i can think of, i play every position including goalie and when i score i always have a new dance i do to try and get as many unsportsmanlike penalties i can

well i got in ym first in-game fight in summer league this year haha. but i go iso and shoot more in summer league. And i dont hussle back when offense looses possesion. i play middie

i screw around in pratice and sometimes in games taking shots through the legs and stuff. i have the ball alot on both my teams but in summer i just hog it lol. and i like to talk alot of smack :D

i use my wooden pole with a slightly illegal bag( maybe a quater of a CM illegal)
i just throw big takeaway checks and harder checks with the intent to hurt kids who are DB's
and i try and play mainly with my left hand

i also clear the ball alot to push the fast break

I do a lot more trick stuff in rec. In rec I also work my lefty a lot more than my righty. Besides that, I just do what I do, and I strive to do it well.
