Any of you guys have any tips for dying mesh? I think im going to do some dye jobs.

ok. i will explain to you what i do. i get some WHITE jimalax soft mesh. the i dye it color. it will make the color permenent, shrink the diamonds a little ( i like this ) and it make it the perfect consistency between hard and soft

why not just buy colored mesh instead?

Step one: prep dye bath
2: toss in mesh
3: after the desired color is reached wash it off
I have done this once or twice, it tends to shrink the mesh but usually leaves it with a great color. Also, you will need to re-break it in. If you are looking for an "inbetween" color that jima or other places don't have I reccomend this. Just throw the mesh in the dye you are using to dye a head, you might need to reheat the water a tad though. Any color can be reached, and the only big problem is you will need to rebreak in the pocket, but it doesnt drastically affect much of anything. Hope it works out.

dont messes it all up. just buy colored mesh at jima. its only like $5
