I can easily double up heads likes PP's an revo pro's that don't have many stringing poles, but when it comes to clutches, I can't seem to get a good deep pocket. I also have to skip 2 holes because my mesh pulls too far. Can someone post pictures or how to double up correctly on a clutch?

I'll post a pic of my doubled up clutch later today

I've found, in my personal experience, that doubling up with a Clutch is unnecessary due to the amount of stringing holes. Rather than double up, use each hole on the sidewall in the general area where you want your pocket to be.

Yea, don't double up, just use every hole. You should get a nice pocket this way

So use every hole on the clutch, no skipping?

No, just string how you normally string, then where you are at the place on your head where you want your pocket, use every hole in that area.

yea, understand now, but I'll show a pic of how I doubled up, it's not pretty lol but should do the job once I start throwing to break it in.

dont double up, unless you just do it once to get the high pocket feeling. If you do then it ill most likely be illigal, so just use every hole. Like the others above me have posted

What i do to double up on my clutch is when I want to just do the sidewall, do as you normally would, except skip every other sidewall hole. Then when I want to double up, I double up as you normally would, yet still skip every other sidewall hole.

I doubled up on my Clutch 3 times and it formed a beautiful, legal pocket. It all depends on your string style.

Yeh I just doubled mine and skipped every other hole. Just make sure you make all the strings as tight as possible, if you don't you'll get an illegal pocket.

Like everyone else said I just got a new Clutch over this week since I traded my other one awhile back and I jsut used every hole where I wasnt the pocket and its perfect.

you can still double up, thats how i got mine so good. you have to estimate where the holes would be like on a regular head. if you double up skip 2 holes.

edit- try and search for Dyed Clutch Sunshine

Try doing it like this, it worked for me. Instead of doubling up I just used everyhole where I wanted the pocket to me.

i did mine just imagining where normal sidewall holes would be, same thing on other heads with lots of holes like the torque.

The channel is great in this problay one of the best ive had. And it throws like anyother stick would and IMO the best way to string a clutch. This is my second clutch and I've strung two others... I strung them all different and find this way to be the best.
