Does Rutgets have a good lacrosse program?

hey i am looking into some schools and well i live in jersey and rutgers may be a top choice of schools since i am looking to major in engineering...well i was just wondering does rutgers have a good program. Also how do you think i will fair in getting recruited...played varsity freshman year got a letter sophmore year currently have a 3.78 gpa and score a 1640 on sats..?

Rutgers has a very respectable program and we can't really tell you your chances without seeing you play but if you really want to go to rutgers then your best bet is to email the coach telling him about your interest and ask if there is anything u can do to get his attention. This will probably be something like attend the Rutgers camp. a 4 year varsity player isnt always good enough to play DI, i've seen kids start all 4 years that couldnt even make the worst DIII team and i've seen kids start only their senior year and go DI. It just takes hard work, commitment, and communication. Anyways just contact the coach.

yeah, playing varsity in our league doesn't really say much. No offense, but there are no real good teams in our league. I mean even the prep lost when they played some real good teams.

I'd say you should try to get into rutgers more on education rather than sports cause they are the real deal in lax. Now if you are in the top 5 percent of your class they give you ten grand off automatically anyway, so i would say that is anyone's best bet from our league

lol so true mainlax lol our conference sucks lol....like we get owned by olmpic teams and they are only mediocre.....but yah i can get more into academics cause i'm in the top 5 percent of my class.
