all state vs. tristate [Archive] - The Lacrosse Forums

hey i'm currently on a Tristate allstars team for the summer. one of my friends is on the allstate summer team. i know i have hear from both my coach and fellow teammates of the great lacrosse players that have come out of the Tristate program. I just wanna know opions on which is better, Tristate or Allstate. This thread is also just for general questions, comments, schedules, etc.

i perosnally play on a all state team..i would have to say tri states midle school teams are notch above all state but as for high scholl ( from what i hear about tristate) all state is better there. Allstate's navy team is one of the best

i played for all state last year and every senior on navy who wanted to play college got recruited (a couple are playing other sports in college) and a few of the seniors that were on gold (the less talented team) got recruited as well. Also at all state you play, practice and get coached by the same people every week, which is not what i've heard from friends who have played for tri-state.

I play AllState on Silver (I'm a frosh, give me a break..:)) and would have to agree with LaxiGill, AllState middle school teams aren't that great/ not as organized, but HS state is a good program.

Oh, and BTW, I know Allstate Silver plays TriState Green this weekend. How's Green compared to the other teams? In terms of skill.
