I started playing field when I was in 5th grade. I played field all then and in the fall of 7th my friend got me into a box leage. I absoulutley loved it! I loved the quickness the tiny goals and the absence of running as much as field. In this leage, we just use our regular field sticks. Right now, I have a Revo pro with 10d hard mesh. I have it on a swizzle (not the expensive $70 but the other cheap one). Im looking into getting 6d mesh for field. Is 6d good for box? I really dont know and hope you guys would help me. What mesh is really good for box? And, im gunna replace my swizzle with something. I need a shaft thats light, cheap and durable. Any suggestions?
Thanks

6d should be fine because it has better hold which you'll need for box. You should very much invest in a new shaft, look into a harrow or something else. You could get better opinions on this though because I don't know of very cheap shafts that are durable, maybe a klyte or 803

I use a woodie and a box pinched bionic. In box you need more hold than speed. Also, with the smaller goal you need accuracy. 6d is a wide known box mesh, but canadian would be good too.

I play box a lor more ethan you do, i can gaurantee that. And maybe you guys switch like your supposed to(30-45 second shifts) but if you arent tiread as hell after every shift, you werent running like your supposed to.Yes i play field, and there is less all out running needed.Trust me box takes more running throughout the game. What about when the ball is at the other end in field?your standing around right?
6d will be just fine, but reallly pinch your head.

id recomend, some semi soft mesh or something that isnt super hard or water resistant, i have a box pinched bionic, and a stx box ti at the moment, the ti is the older equivalent of the new stx dominator
