Mason Powell Thread to end All

Ryan Powell (his nickname Rhino) created a club team located in Portland, Oregon, because the Portland Lumberjax, his NLL team. Anyways, on the middleschool A team, his brother Mason Powell, who lives in Syracuse, NY plays on the team. Mason is a FOGO (Face off , get off), he wears number 0 and is not what you would think to be the brother of Mike/Ryan/Casey Powell.
I know all of this because we played his team at Santa Barbara.

I played with him at Powell Camp. No disrespect to the Powell Family at all, but he's nothing special. Yes he has played goalie, he played it once at camp, he is an attackman, and from what I saw last summer. He was not very good. Who knows, he could be taught many things and he could be better than all of the Powell brothers. From what I saw, I am going to feel bad for the kid when there is such a high standard raised for him, and he has to live with the expectations everyday. Anyways, he's a nice kid.

yeah maybe the powell family gains their athleticism at a later level than others, they might have all not been very good when they were in middle school, noone knows that. he might just become amazing in high school, no one knows.

i dont think the powells are driving ferraris or lambos so its not exactly like MP, Casey and Ryan have enough money to just buy their parents a new life or anything like that.

Give this kid a break, hes in middle school. One summer can completely change a kids game, maybe he doesnt care about lacrosse as much as his brothers. Just because your last name is Powell doesnt mean youre going to be automatically good. My brother played soccer but i sucked at it, hes good at basketball i suck at it. Im good at lacrosse, he struggles to even pick up the ball and run with it. Cut the kid some slack, and dont rag on him for wearing all the latest and greatest brine gear. If your brothers worked for Brine and were like "hey do you want the top of the line equipment" then every single one of us would be like "ummm yeah". Hes not even close to being done with puberty, give him some time to grow.

It's just irritating to see everyone in this thread say, "Wow he's a powell, he must be good, he's been taught by the best." Now you guys are just ignorant and arrogant towards the powells. Yes, their last name is powell but that isn't what made them good lacrosse players. Also, CP,RP, and MP all grew up together, playing against one another everyday. The age difference really hurts MP2.

I believe him, thats cool if it is him and if it was just some kid making that up that would be really stupid, I would hope no one would waste that much time to be someone their not. If it is him then, congrats no one should be hating on him for being a Powell maybe he will be another great I personally am fine with that.
