any tips n tricks about highschool lacrosse would be greatly appreciated and also im trying to figure what position to play between goalie and middie i enjoy playing them both but i figure it would be good if i just focused on one position but hten again i figured i might have a better chance come tryouts by playing both and another question how do most tryouts go do you just play a couple of games or wut...:thinking:

tryouts are different wherever you try out, it just depends on who the coach is. It varies also. There is going to be more competition at the high school level i think you should practice one position, but that is just my opinion, others might think differently. Name some of your strongpoints and i might be able to help you out on what position to play, but then again if you really want to you can play any position just practice.
And dont just not try out for your favorite postion because you think you will it will be harder to make, but pick your favorite and practice at it. ALOT

Unless your like beast, don't expect to be the best on the team. Your young, just have fun and make it a learning experience. Nobody on the team is expecting you to be really good.

make sure the coaches know you can play both goalie and middie, as it will make you more valuable player in their eyes.

actually Ballinman, anyone can start. If they have the skills they will start or at least get a good amount of playing time. This also depends on your teammates skill and your Divison. Best of luck to you!

well 2 things as a middy that would help is
a) be willing to kill for a ground ball
b) be able to play better D then a dman
