don't know how you can beat mb5. Playing on a top 5 DI team and winning a championship, although he may not play much, at least he's on the team. And then of course kryptic, and amazing stringer to add to his playing abilities, and RIT, who I learned everything I know about faceoffs.

i think you might be confused. there was some noise at D2 Bryant about going D1, but i havent heard anything else about it recently.

I havent heard anything about WJ going D1. im not sure it would make a lot of sense either, they are in the bottom third of D2.

My buddy was about to go there and the coach told him that they were headed D1 this year or next. Also, he has to buddies on the team that confirmed it....Word of mouth, yes, but why would three guys lie about it?

So many teams think they're going DI soon. So many, that it's the ultimate cop out for prospective players and those outside the team and program.

Every legitimate club team in the country thinks they're on the brink of becoming DI. Every team that lost their varsity status thinks they will get it back sooner or later. Every burgeoning DII and DIII program thinks DI is in the works.

The players have absolutely no power over a program's rise to DI status, barring complete dominance in the division (which isn't the case.) The coach, meanwhile, while optimistic, can't guarantee it either. Hell, the most substantiated rumor for DI status, Bryant, isn't even materializing yet.

It's time to realize college lacrosse doesn't grow this rapidly given Title IX and financial restrictions.

Well then I guess none of the players who have been mentioned so far are legit, because none of them get any playing time on their respective teams, if you haven't noticed. The only exception is stinisonfire, and he's a FOGO.

The amount of executives, players, and coaches that browse the forums is alarming. They may not post often, they definitely don't reveal their identities, and some don't even make an account, but people do see what is posted on the forums.

Inside Lacrosse is the biggest media conglomerate in the lacrosse industry-and it links directly to TLF. Think of how many forums you glance upon with a simple Google search. TLF is in a huge spot to gain national attention.

Off the top of my head, I know several retailers and MLL players who have admitted using TLF. Obviously, they don't make an account and tell the world that they're such person. Do you see any celebrity, in any capacity, publically list themselves on an internet forum or website? It's suicide.

Remember the anonymity of the internet, folks. You never know who is posting.

Ah, now we need to pull out the dictionary and define what is legit?

I believe the Kip Turner's and Alex Smith's are considered the world-class players in the game. Starting for a Final Four Team and being a professional player merits you to be one of the best in the world, at least at your age level. I never knew "legitimate" meant "nationally sought after and known"...in my understanding, legitimate means a lot less than that.

Once you grow up and make it to college, let me know. You have no idea what it takes to get to that level yet. Every other "legit" player on this forum has enough time to do things other than lacrosse. College lacrosse might take up a bunch of your time, but not all of it. I guess you're assuming (which makes an *** out of you and me) that us "legit" players spend hours on the forum and not working on stick skills?

Are you telling me Kryptic isn't a legit player 'cause he's a mod on here which obviously means he spends more time on this forum than on his stick skills, same with me & RIT.

20g... what a season? 75% save average? Those are two extremes my man. Also, keep in mind that there are more things in lacrosse than just scoring and stopping shots.

well in all honesty...ill say this, i do not play college lacrosse but id hope to one day...anyways, the only way i can see BoiledEggs or nylax812 can legitimately rag on RIT, Stin, St1, Eclipse, Kryptic or any of our LEGIT laxers on tlf is if you, BoiledEggs or nylax812 START, i said START on a top 10 division 1 lacrosse team...other than that i really dont think you have any room to rag on any of these guys because they have accomplished the goal of playing college lax at the d1/d2/d3 levels...this is just my $0.02

PS: I still say RIT, Stin, St1, Eclipse, Kryptic and Wheelax are all baller
