Everyone talks about how the MLL TV package is promoting lacrosse all over the US but college is doing just as well. This year ( for the first time I'v seen) the quarter final games were on in my area and (correct me if I'm wrong) but most of the nation saw them as well. Well there is another victory for college lacrosse on TV. ESPN bumped them to the 2:30 time slot on memorial day instead of 11:00. Not only is it a better time to watch, but with all the NCAA action that goes on that weeknd it shows that ESPN has more trusts lacrosse more to bring in its ratings.
P.S. love the new college lax forum

Lax on TV (doesn't matter if its college or pro) needs to be backed by us. I would love it if one day we can be specific about which network covers games the best, but right now we have to just hang back and give networks a reason to put lax games on TV, by watching them, and giving them good enough ratings that the networks that take the risk of showing the game, think about showing more!

I remember that the NLL was on CNN/SI a couple years ago, and no one got that channel either. This is the problem as I see it...the game is on, but no one who wants to see it, can see it. That sucks major lax balls!!!!:angry

We get a college network at my home in maryland on Dish. They played a few live d1 games last year and had a few games on over and over on tape. The announcers really sucked but at least it was on.

Yeah, but you live in Maryland, the lax capital of the world. I want to have lacrosse on a TV in Utah one day, where the person sitting there watching it is saying, "Damn this is a great sport, but those announcers SUCK!" Ya know?:agree

When I lived in Delaware I would drive down to friends house in Maryland to watch and tape as many games as I can.
